Goddess Blessed Fish

 

Makes 4-6 servings

 

3 Lbs. Walleye, cod or whitefish fillets
Salt and pepper
1/3 C. dry sherry
½ Lb. Mushrooms, sliced
6 Tbls. Butter
½ C. parmesan cheese, grated
1 C. sour cream


Place fish in a shallow baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle sherry over fish. Sauté mushrooms in 2 Tbls. Butter; spread over fish. Combine 4 Tbls. Melted butter, Parmesan cheese and sour cream. Spoon sour cream mixture over fish. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when pricked with a fork.
