Pecan Tassies

 

Makes 4 dozen

 

½ Lb. Butter
6 Oz. cream cheese
2 C. flour
3 eggs
2 ¼ C. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbls. Melted butter
½ tsp. vanilla
1 ½ C. finely chopped pecans


Mix butter, cream cheese and flour. Shape into 48 small balls. Press balls on bottom and sides of miniature cupcake pans to form crust; set aside. Beat eggs slightly. Add brown sugar, salt, butter, vanilla and nuts. Pour mixture into prepared crusts. Bale at 350 for 20 minutes. Cool. Carefully remove from tins.
