Celtic Short Bread
Ingredients
1 cup soft butter
1 egg yolk
1 cup powdered sugar
3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Cream butter, blend in egg yolk & gradually add sugar.
Beat until very smooth & creamy.
Gradually work in flour with fingers until well blended.
Pat onto a cookie sheet into a circle approx.. 9" in diameter & 1" thick.
Bake at 350 defrees for 25-30 minutes, until golden.
Decorate according to the purposes of the intended use.
I usually Visualize the intent of the ritual the bread will be used for while kneading the dough.
